Living Hands opened at Al-Bireh Cultural Centre on 15 September, organised by UNESCO with European support. It displays objects and prototypes developed through work on six traditional crafts, from glassblowing to weaving. [1]

The programme involved 24 artisans and 43 designers in 27 projects across 13 Palestinian cities and villages. Its work included documentation and technical and financial assistance. [1]
