Fidenza inaugurated the new Ongaro Cremonini school complex at Villa Ferro on 26 September. The celebration follows everyday school life: the council had already recorded more than four hundred children arriving on 13 April 2026. September’s ceremony was therefore not the building’s first day in use. [1][2][3]

The complex has nineteen classrooms, four workshops, four flexible spaces and two open libraries without walls. There is also a canteen and a gym. The council describes a 4,665-square-metre building within roughly 34,000 square metres of green space, bringing together places to study and places to spend time outdoors. [1]

These are tangible facilities, not an automatic measure of teaching quality. The verifiable result is a working school with settings beyond conventional classrooms; how they support learning will become clearer over time. The spring opening and autumn inauguration are two separate milestones in the same project. [1][2]
