On 11 September, the Opera di Santa Croce announced completion of work on the Stories of Saint Francis, carried out by the Opificio delle Pietre Dure over four years. [1]

Fragile areas were stabilised and gaps integrated, making the cycle clearer while preserving traces of its history. The city lists reopening from 12 September. [1][2]
