Forlì’s Parco della Resistenza is scheduled to reopen on the morning of Thursday 24 September. The council’s 23 September announcement follows damage to trees, playground equipment and park furniture during the 21 August storm, which forced a closure. The source describes the work and reopening plan; it does not yet document visitors returning at the time of this edition. [1]

According to councillor Giuseppe Petetta, work involved 110 trees: removing fallen trunks and branches, pruning, and felling trees damaged beyond recovery. The estimated cost of the work exceeds €30,000. The announcement also lists six pieces of playground equipment and five benches left beyond repair, without announcing that all have been replaced. During the weekend of 19–20 September, parents from the Caracol – Crescere Insieme association joined the clean-up. The Chiosco dei Giardini kiosk is also scheduled to reopen alongside the park, as this part of neighbourhood life begins to recover from the damage. [1]
