In Rimini, access to the sea is producing measurable results. In its report published on 3 September, the municipality recorded 2,085 bookings for Spiaggia Libera Tutti: around 39% more than in 2025, compared with an 8.3% increase in opening days. The number of people welcomed was estimated at 3,868. [1]

The beach at Piazzale Boscovich has sixteen equipped gazebos for disabled people and their companions. Access is free, with advance booking. According to the municipality, allowing the spaces to be used at different times of day has helped meet more requests; 22.5% of guests came from abroad. [1]

The report also describes birthdays, shared lunches and meetings between older people and children from summer programmes. The documented result therefore concerns both the practical use of an accessible space and its everyday social life. These are provisional figures from a season still under way. [1]
