In Nepal, vaccines travel beyond broken roads. On 16 September, UNICEF documented cholera doses crossing a river on a manually operated ropeway and government drones working in some areas. The campaign follows the 26 August floods, covers Rasuwa and Nuwakot, and requires an uninterrupted cold chain. [1]

WHO reports that the campaign, launched on 10 September, had reached more than 50,000 people aged one or older by 15 September. These are vaccinated people, a different measure from doses transported. Routine immunization services have resumed; the measles-rubella campaign described in the same update was still being prepared. [2]
